Dr Gaitree holds a PhD in the field of tourism and communication. She is a researcher and lecturer. She is also serving the African Union ECOSOCC.

The paper highlights the importance of internal marketing and depicts its contribution in sustaining a tourism destination. A renewed definition of internal marketing is provided.
